The patents don’t target the animation so much as what the game mechanic does. Pocketpair might just be trying to get ahead of it as it’s the only component called into question that they themselves down own the prior art to.

Example: I've had to remove a 60 something year old from my game server for constantly acting like a toddler that didn't get their way.

So glad I switched majors and I am where I am
I went into computer science bc I wanted to write the stories for video games. Computer science and English/Language Arts was the best my college had to offer towards a "video game" degree.
I was not great at programming xD I can do it, I'm just too slow at understanding it. Swapped majors and enjoying my field.
And I know my company restructures for what is best for the company. But, people are moved around. We are shown, told, have large meetings so we all know what the scope of current work is and future work is so we know we have job security. We don't have a fear of just being laid off unless we do something stupid to cause it. If there is a chance of being laid off bc of restructuring, we know ahead of time bc the future work is spreading thin.

I'm on phone and when someone posts and I'm trying to reply to a post, that bump often causes my hold to reply to turn into a click.

Those areas have literally nothing, so it's not even an issue
On top of that, it has nothing to do with speed running the game or anything
Even after you beat the game, if you don't go to those areas, the NPCs will disappear over time
And you can raise their "happiness level" by talking to the NPCs and shit
And the NPCs only lose 3 happiness points, every REAL LIFE DAY
Which they only disappear once they reach 0
So you can quite literally play for an entire week, and still have all the NPCs
You don't have to speed run it
