the theme of dungeon siege was pretty close to person doing normal things ends up doing something extreme, like 1 you were a farmer getting help from the guards to protect your farm from monster attacks, and end up killing the demon lord. 2 you were a mercenary who is trying to go home and end up having to fight the evil overlord with the power of gods

The entire plot is like 1 of the 4 or 5 major missions in mass effect 3, big decision included
But it doesn't have ⅕ the annoying side quests; they tried to bolt on an entire video game of sidequests and also give half of those side quests key importance
As a result you basically walk into a town and are told you failed 4 sidequests because the direction of the wind when you entered and also which NPC you looked at first was actually crucial

If you like card battle games, Night of the Full Moon is pretty good.

Clusterduck - amusing game for a little bit. I consider it a funny time waster that I pop on once a month. Recommend just looking at it for the laugh.

Cryptograms (picture being a C/X) - nice newspaper crytoquip game with animal facts, if looking for word games.

Crossword (pic is a black and white crossword with C aw on it) - actual newspaper crossword puzzles. I think it now has ads, but they aren't bad(unless it has updated in the last week).

If you want gacha games, Summoners War isn't too bad, but is extremely grindy/required a lot of time if you don't put a lot of money in.

Azur Lane is pretty good and is not as nsfw as online images make it out to be. If you put money into it, you can make it borderline nsfw with a lot of those outfits lol.

I lose interest with phone games that take attention, so I stick with the ones I recommended before the gavah games. I prefer puzzles instead of full games on a phone.

Machinka Atlas - it is similar to... omg I forgot the name of the game, going to Google. Ty Google. It is similar to Myst. You can play the free demo which is decently long.

Secret Cat Forrest - It is just an aesthetic game. You get a tree house, you decorate it, you collect cats. The purpose is to relax you.

Campire Cafe - It is one of thos afk/upgrade games. The story is a little funny. I do recommend it, but, the creator hasn't finished it and seems they may be on hiatus. Without the story, the game is a bit boring.

Life in Adventure - it is a DnD style pen and paper game. If you like reading, I suggest this. You semi create a char, then choose options when story archs come up, and see where the outcome takes you.

Sure, the whole "fighting enemies with your cute companions" gist works for kids, but older audiences are going to want something more... engaging, which is what Palworld provides. The general gist is the same, but with added twists and turns, and in this case, a whole another genre.

See, one of the arguments some people gave me is that Palworld is just "milking" the same concept as Pokemon. Yes and no.
For instance, between DOOM and DOOM Eternal, the general gist is the same (destroying demons in the most brutal ways possible), but there are new mechanics and enemies added to the mix, such as Dashing, the Maykrs looking like angels instead of demons, different setting, etc. .

It is generally the same concept (Mon game), but Palworld has a different execution. You never shot any Pokemon, and you certainly couldn't deal damage to them as a trainer either, which you can in Palworld.

#

And none of the protagonists (aside from maybe in Pokemon Legends: Arceus, which I should probably examine more closely) were desperately trying to survive, they were just trying to prove themselves.

Poppy Playtime is about worker(if I remember correctly, you play a worker) revisiting a shut down toy store. You progress through chapters finding out more and more of what happened leading to the shutdown, dark secrets, your involvement, and what is currently going on leading to you coming back.
I have been watching playthroughs of it bc I am cheap, but in all honesty, I have been considering buying bc it has been a really good watch.
