and the enemy AI was designed around this so enemies would generally never try to space themselves, and your only concern was timing the input to hit the enemy while attacking and also not being a clown attacking an enemy with an attack that didn't work

in Palworld you have to stand in the same spot as an enemy because the melee has no lunge and the hitbox is the size of an electron
