you just run it and it creates a transparent chat window to display messages on screen

Years ago I was looking for a GBA game (Golden Sun or something) but none of the stores had it and it only listed on Nintendo’s website. I contacted them about where I can get the game and they said it was out of print and they advised get it used.
So I found a used cartridge, tried to play it but there the saves would keep breaking, so I contacted Nintendo and got the cartridge RMAed. When they received it they were like “where did you get this?” It turned out to be a counterfeit cartridge. Magically the offered a new in box copy of the game if I ratted out the store so yeah, I did. Ofc they then recommend to avoid buying used copies of their games to make sure the cartridges are legit.
