Question on PC fan cleaning, which between these 2 are better? Cotton buds or micro toothbrush?

Intent is to clean dust stuck to the fan blades.

The micro toothbrush is the one that looks like a toilet brush but with micro bristles.

Depends really what you are cleaning

Generally the industry of repairs uses toothbrushes for cleanups of circuits

But as far as fans go, just lock them so they dont spin and airblast the living hsit out of them, you lock them to prevent from an engiine startup to generate electrricity

Welp, from a convo earlier with some update. Turns out my laptop mobo was cooked.

Likely due to dust and the thermal paste to the CPU was dried up.

Which I believe the latter being the biggest culprit.

Will try to get the mobo and CPU replaced. If that fails it's likely dead.

Can't believe this happened to my laptop when my past desktops don't have such problems.
