The 1ms is important especially cus I also play Xbox on my monitors.
Abd I Got this uhm, usb device to swap controller to mouse and keyboard for older games with no mouse and keyboard support.
And it has a latency unless the screen has fast refresh rate and 1ms it feels like real mouse and keyboard gaming except for the limited buttons a controller has.
It basically just write the controller to keyboard so I still have the same number of buttons but eh lol

The game isn't going anywhere for the foreseeable future, and if there are any changes in the situation PocketPair will announce this as soon as they can.

PocketPair's official statement on this is per [Bucky's Announcement](#announcements message)

PocketPair have either not received, or are not publicly discussing the patents in question, so the moment everything posted in the media about Nintendo's claim is speculation, please bear that in mind.

Also there are no specifics in the notice from Nintendo beyond the lawsuit is for a patent violation, Nintendo's Press Release (Note: this is not about a copyright claim)

So whilst there's posts and media out there mentioning recent Nintendo patents they have taken out, we don't know for certain if these are involved or if there are other patents being claimed on.

Unless that mechanic is something that means the game literally cannot exist without it, it's incredibly unlikely the game will go anywhere beyond a change in said mechanic if PocketPair was to lose.

As it states now (until there’s future leads on the investigation), there’s nothing we can do as players. Yes we do make the games popular, and we influence on people’s perception on what creativity is as a whole, but the problem is we aren’t the legal system. I don’t necessarily agree with the whole situation regarding everything but we should try to hope for the best. Like PP said, it could take weeks, months or even up to a year for finalization on the topic.

We still have the game now, we have to cherish it, and make what’s best of it possible. 🩷

This is a really old trick everyone did back in the day, there is not really a major trick, it's thermodynamics and a bit of metallurgy knowledge that was common sense back in old times.

But the way he popularize it was to give it a name of single person doing it. It's kind of like rubbing your feet on a carpet. Everyone knew about it, actually, it is so funny that we knew about this trick of static, but turned out no one ever did a research on it until a couple of years ago, decades.

But we known of it for centuries. And there is probably someone who made it popular but is older than. It's just common sense, but its attributed to a single person.
