Sent a letter, they sent it to me bc they read the return address. I wrote on the letter, "please send the letter to the 'MAILING' address" they tried to tell me it needed a new stamp and I told them I'm not paying for their idiocy of using the obvious return address.

I even put arrows all around the mailing address indicating "this is the field you mail letters to"

When my dad passed away, the house went into probate for a bit. So, I had to get all of the mail stopped bc I legally couldn't go there until things were settled. I had the death certificate and the forms filled out to halt the mail, went into the post office and explained what I needed done. At this time, I looked younger than I was (according to everyone I knew), so the woman behind the counter decided to treat me like a child. She stood up, towered over me bc they are on a step back there and told me no.

Along with that no she told me that my father came in there and told me to stop halting his mail and that I need to stop playing those games. She won't halt his mail and I can just leave.

I am not someone who can lose their temper, I am a person that usually freezes up and panics. But, her treating me like a child angered me so much I slammed that death certificate at her and told her I have NEVER come in there and halted my father's mail and I would love for her to call him up right now and make him come in there and tell me not to do it since she had these godly powers to do so. I screamed at her how he died, when he died since she needed the details and if she didn't believe me there was the official death certificate and here are all the numbers for the officials if she needs to call to authenticate it.

The people in line behind me were appalled with her.

Based on what little I've looked into him, I feel he gets an idea, checks some very little basics, asks a few experts if there are plausible ways of doing it, when he hears a yes, he goes for it withiut hearing how things are plausible.

I was trying out a free game on the epic launcher, was actually enjoying the game. Then the launcher broke. I tried reinstalling it, updating my drivers, I couldn't find anything on my end wrong. I messaged their help team and they told me I needed to buy a new graphics card, their launcher required the newest.
I just built the computer I was using. The graphics card I had in it was barely not the newest anymore.

Pokémon's monster catching mechanics are not unique to it and they haven't gone after other IPs over it. They left Yo-Kai Watch alone, so they have no case. This whole thing is going to take some time, PocketPair is going to have to get their legal team to look over and see what they can and can't say based on it, but as a whole there's nothing to panic about, and nothing we can actively do except show support for PocketPair and the decisions they will make.

And other games with this same mechanic(outside of pokemon and palworld), also have similar mechanics

Which means legally, they can not file a patnet, for a patnet to go through, your entire idea(in this case mechanic), has to be 100000% completely unique, that no one else is using

The poke ball patent (throwing an object and a creature comes out that you can command) was filed after Palworld's release, so they can't do that (and also wouldn't stick in court because that's just genre-defining thing)

This is the last thing I'll say on the lawsuit thing.

If it is based on game mechanics and recently patented stuff, this may get thrown out and the patents revoked. Reason being at least in the US, the patent idea must be original and there's just too many examples of games that had the idea for a game mechanic before Nintendo or Palworld ever did. So this may fall flat. And even this, i feel like there's just too many holes in this bridge this time. Hopefully Pocket Pair don't back down and dddthey bite back.
