depending on your team comp and playstyle (speedrunning/PvP) it's very important to have specific values for your pokemon's iv's/ev's.

31 iv and 252 ev spread pokemon is significantly stronger/bulkier/faster than one with 0 iv's and no ev training. if you like trick room teams where slower pokemon move first, you'd never want a pokemon to be in the same or higher speed tier as common threats or any of the same species.

If you just watch the news about plane crashes, you'll just become afraid bc only the bits that strike a nerve or certain emotions are shown and talked upon. That would be a hard subject to talk about bc of personal views. 🤔 the short of what I think on the strict part is to make it easier for moderation. Moderators have lives as well and if you just have a baseline that people can accept it makes less work they will have to do and less to worry about if there are overly sensitive people.

I feel talking on the point of them being sensitive would either go over a line of the rules at some point, cause an argument with some, or is just a little too close to the line that I don't want to pursue that discussion.

When I am in a moderator position, I am a pretty heartless moderator. I have a life and my point of view to moderating is that the rules are usually pretty simple and if someone is too stupid to be able to follow them or chooses not to follow them then time shouldn't be wasted on them. I will state what they did wrong and tell them to GTFO before removing them.
(And I completely understand why I don't get koderator positions in groups anymore xD)

And I have met a moderator that completely flipped. They were awesomenin the chat and super helpful. You could ask them for help, about the rules, just talk with them. Then they were offered a moderator role. After that, they were pretty much a d***. They would unban people and give them second chances when the community asked for the ban due to multiple rule breaks, but then would ban people for the smallest infraction. If you questioned them, you were banned. If you asked for help and didn't understand it the first time he answered, banned. If a different mod banned someone, he would unban them bc he wasn't the one who banned them.

The tldr: depends on the moderator on how they will take the position and you will need to figure out if that is the moderator community or just a single person.

I had bought it when it forst came out, but friend convinced me to get it on console and I HATED it. I play healer classes and I was restricted on console and if I hooked up a keyboard and mouse, I was limited by the console on how fast the mouse could move.

I picked it back up a few years ago and was getting into it, but I quit after an expansion came out. Instead of increasing server capacity or adding servers, they kicked ftp to allow room for the paid members. I understand you want your money makers to be able to play what they paid for, but it made me not want to put a dime into the game.
