Just depends on what's going on that determines whether or not it sucks. If it were a situation where, say, one of the big, sealed dust screws in the hot areas near the ceiling breaks down, that's a shitty night. But in a case like we had recently where the wrecker guys had to dig mud and bits of lead and stuff out of the drag chain so we could fix a broken link, while we stood around and waited for them, that's not a bad night even though it's a full 4 hours.

I'm not allergic to my cats, but I have been trying to minimize their fur on things.
I moved all my clothes to the closet and don't keep much in drawers anymore. Idk why, but there is less fur on them in the closet than in the drawers....
I try to keep up with vacuuming/sweeping.
I spray fabrics with a mix of 1 part white vinegar to 2 to 3 parts water once a week to kill odor and bacteria. I also spray it before a friend who is allergic to cats visits, it seems to help.
I will sometimes throw items in the dryer to just defur them as needed.
