There’s a lot about the military that I really admire, though I don’t think it’s always used for the right purposes. Deep down I still wish I could’ve gotten to try it out, but there’s a lot about the process of it all that scares me. I know some vets who see it as the most meaningful and valuable aspect of their lives, and I know some people like my boyfriend’s dad who got out of the military and immediately started trying to encourage as many people as possible to not join the military lol
