  • when selecting a base location, try to establish your first one near wood, stone nodes, and iron nodes
  • Capture lots of pals and level up; I recommend dumping points into health
  • Have fun and explore - always keep a decent amount of food on you as well, for yourself and your pals
  • Direhowl is a good beginner mount.
  • Make sure you pay close attention to pal work suitability - will help you a lot with base work.

Any other more detailed and specific tips would be getting into spoiler territory. You can always summon the survival guide to learn more about the game and its mechanics as well. Have fun! cat_happy
