I don't know about strong, but it's definitely still in development. I used to play that game all the time
They released a new map recently, revamped the asylum and all the equipment, the leveling system, and ghost mechanics and whatnot. No new ghost models or scare factors though. Think that's on the roadmap for next year.

FD is, sorta like Destiny 2/Warframe. You have a collection of characters to play as, though you need to either buy the character or do a bit of grinding to unlock the materials needed to use the character, and then wait for your research to finish. There is a storyline to go through, various missions and tons of just grindy quests. The gunplay is fun, and using a character that suits your playstyle just makes it all the exciting. Characters also have their own Lore Quests where you can learn of their past and how they came to be where they are now. The Microtransactions, as far as I've seen have been cosmetics, boosts and pay to advance in that you can finish up your research instantly if you pay for it. Have yet to see a reason to use Microtransactions.
Once Human, I'm still learning. It's an MMO with survival craft elements. I'd compare it to the likes of Remnant from the Ashes, Enshrouded and Day Z. The biggest issue I have with the game is that the enemy AI seems a little, braindead. You can go through the whole map that's available and mow down the enemies without them hardly paying any attention to you. But it's still brand new, the Devs are listening to the community and paying attention to feedback. PirateSoftware, well known Streamer, Dev and Cave Goblin had a lengthy talk with the Dev/Community Manager and had a lovely discussion with them about the game, feedback and such. I'm not too far into it, but it's fun, haven't really had many issues, performence is solid. It's a game that has potential, and I'm looking forward to the future of it.

Well, I think having them in charge of an MMO would actually be a good thing. They are listening, taking feedback and changing things up based off the community criticism. Worrying thing about this though is how long it'll last, and if they'll listen to everyone that has the slightest issues with the most mundane things.

That being said I got home and read all that. An MMO with survival crafting elements is a pretty nice genre of game. Hopefully Once Human accepts all the feedback they're getting for the issues that are worthy of attention.

I read all that. It's interesting to note that there are many things on Palpagos that seem to be based on viking mythology. Like the big tree is obviously a reference to Yggdrasil which serves as a connecting point of the nine realms in their mythos. The big bones could be Jörmungandr, or a world serpent type pal. There are a number of speculations I've made myself given the clues we have in game, and I'm hoping this fan work I'm writing (when I actually get some real time off work) can try to make sense of things

I've been in servers where the majority of banned players came from posting memes, I think that's dysfunctional and a symptom of a flawed rule
I don't think there's a single mod that would like that to be the case here

I would absolutely agree that there's a cultural difference for English speaking and other, but there's also cultural differences on all languages to be fair - I think the EN/JP disparity is larger given they are the 2 languages used / "Allowed" (I think) on the server, so German, French, Italian ect will all be speaking in English.
And I also agree you can't put rules in place to cover all cases, especially when people don't think in the same way, one person's 'Fine' content is another's trigger, which makes rule enforcement difficult.
The mods are put in a very tough position a lot of the time, and the "Common sense" rule in the rules is a pretty important one
I know that some servers have a public "Mod Log" which shows moderation actions and reasons to help with transparency, but it can also0be an issue if people are constantly picking at the decisions the Mods make
