Haven't watched, but if it is to make peeling easier I could see it working. My dad would always add a splash of vinegar to the water when he boiled eggs. The acid causes the shell to pull away from the egg.

Adding vinegar to beans as they cook can help reduce gas when you eat them.

Citric acid is amazing for cleaning your dishwasher and washing machine (I mix it with baking soda)

Varying concentrations of vinegar and water are great for cleaning, dissenfecting, and deodorizing (can also you vodka, but that is expensive in comparison). (Also great to use if you have issues using cleaners).

That dawn powerwash is amazing for cleaning bathrooms (do NOT spray in toilet). (Great to use if you have issues using cleaners).

Citric acid can clean the toilet tank if you have hard water stains. Works on shower heads and other items.

We used to buy lemon juice in bulk. When it would expire (bc it always would....)
I would use it to clean and disinfect countertops and things.
I'd wipe it off with water to make sure there was no residue and it would leave areas smelling of lemons.

Was also nice to add to a pot of water with various herbs clippings and just simmers to make the house smell good in the winter.
