Disaster as in the fact they basically turned the gameplay loop into a literal pay to win by the fact you can buy bursters, ect.
Also generally the way they fumbled through the management of the game left a sour taste for me, and I played back in the very early days of the game

I can agree on that, they went backwards on their promise of “no pay to win”.
I honestly don’t know of anyone who buys the burster packs, I do get the monthly subscription for the extra stash space and CMUs to buy vanity badges every so often, as well as Q caps.
Still annoyed they got rid of the quantum trashcans for duping keys though…… makes field ops a pain in the arse for both factions…

Niantic removed one of the pokestops and changed the other to a gym after council complaints (people kept leaving trash all on the ground etc), but they also removed portals 💀

That said, it was one of the few locations that was possible to spawn all the starter evolutions.
Sydney Harbour and Circular Quay were also 24/7 lures.
