Blood tests should rule out stuff like a heart attack (Checking for damaged tissue in the bloodstream) prediabeties, and other infections.. if there's no other more obvious physical symptoms then a panic attack is likely - you do feel like you're dying when they're really bad, the elevated blood pressure would make sense if you were in that state, though it could also be a false positive due to the stress you were under thinking you were having a cardiac event and being in hospital.

GP visit would be a good thing to discuss what happened, perhaps they can take you through some things such as therapy referalls to get to the route of it if it is anxiety based, or if you need medical help to deal with it.
