The game really isn't all that tough. Just crowd management becomes an issue if you are ill-equipped or don't know how to manage ammunition. Once you get into Haz 4 and Haz 5, you have a pretty decent challenge

I've solo'd a haz 5 mission as scout to get the achievement for not going down and not ordering a resupply. It was incredibly tough
