But, a lot of them explain, if they band together and destroy the multiverse, then their one universe will exist as the one true universe afterwards. If they are the only universe, then the heroes can no longer help one another through the multiverse.

And then, in one ultimate act of utter terror, the villains defeat the heroes in this hail Mary attempt that no one ever fathomed would ever happen and destroy the multiverse! Leaving their own universes as the sole survivers of the calamity (bc story writing it is how it works now days, don't you go telling me it is the multiverse). And then moments later, all the villains realize, they had banded together and defeated the heroes, but, because they were not trying to defeat their heroes they never delivered the finishing blows.... They could have achieved victory and all of them could have ruled in thos new era. At that moment, a collective trailing "NOOOOOOOOO" could be heard across the multiverse.

It's the same case with wind turbines. They're huge-scale motors and gearboxes that are turned by the wind and used in a similar fashion to hydro, the difference being instead of being restrained by a moving body of water, acres upon acres of wildlife are destroyed to make room for wind farms. Wind farms are one of birds' number one killers.

Not to mention that the mechanics of a motor and gearbox require lubrication. That's a LOT of heavy-duty gear and motor oil, which kind of defeats the purpose of being 'green' in the first place
