My left arm and shoulder muscles still hurt from catching myself on the pipe the ladder was set against and preventing it from falling

#

Basically what happened was the ladder was set up against a pipe inside a big water tank. It feeds in air to the water solution to oxidize it. When you have a ladder that high you're supposed to be tied off at the top and have someone standing at the bottom to prevent a kick-out.

Well, guy that was supposed to be my counterweight decided to get off the ladder to do something his mentor asked him to do. Lo and behold, the ladder kicked out from beneath me and dropped about a foot or so and almost fell off the pipe. I caught it and myself by grabbing the pipe with my left arm. Gave me quite a start lmao.

To make matters worse, he got back on and tried adjusting it while I was still clinging to the pipe and reorienting myself

Had a tool in my other hand so I had to get that freed first. He caught quite an earful from me later

I remember this one telemarketer would call around 10:30 every night for about a week. My dad would answer and tell her to remove our number and even yell at her for waking the household up when he had work and the kids had school. Yet, she would still call and not care. One day, my dad finally had enough and told her, "give me your home phone number?" She refused. He told her, "let me call you while you are in bed, needing to sleep so you can get up to get your kids ready for school and get to workm" she told him that would be ridiculous to allow someone to harrass you like that, he told her it was, so give him the number so she experience what she has been doing. She chewed him out for his severe inappropriate behavior and removed our number from the call list.
