I remember once, my brother's friend was staying the night. The friend lived next door and had asked if he could go home to get something. I watched as he went home to make sure he made it, then waited for him to return, and waited, and waited.... It was night time, had gotten late, and I began to panic bc he was only supposed to be 15 minutes at most.

I put shoes on and went right over there. I could hear people awake inside and knocked on the door. Everyone got quiet. I waited.... No one came. I kept knocking, and ringing the doorbell, to me, a kid I was watching is missing, I need to know they stayed home and nothing happened on their way back. I heard the parents inside aggravated that someone was at the door and not going away. I yelled who I was and kept knocking. FINALLY someone answered the door. I explained, "so n so was staying the night, he asked to go home to get something and never came back, did he stay home? Is he okay?" They just walked off and sent the kid to the door. Kid decided to stay home because my brother spent the entire time he was over on the phone with his gf.

But, I am standing there, ovvious freaked out and worried bc kid missing, and the parents are looking at me like I'm an idiot for worrying about someone elses kid. I never let that kid spend the night again if I had to watch him.

Its one of those virtual reality type manga and this one is severly pay to win. Some dude starts playing butsoon after starting he gets betrayed by a teammate who he literally met that day (not that he could stop that person, he weak at this point) He goes partially insane and decideds to hit a stick with a reinforcment hammer a bunch of times and ends up getting it to +99. This, however, should be statistically impossible since at +10 there is a less than 5% chance of succeeding and a more than 95% chance of the item breaking. Some folks try to report him for hacking or cheating or whatever but the game's moderator team checks the item and it is 100% legit. Chaos ensues from then on. Well, the chaos started right after he got it to +99 but I wont spoil that since it was a real neat power display on the artist's side.

From what I can understand of the work in front of me, the motor operated valves are the safety system, if something is wrong, this is the shut down.
