If you want to do a DIY one:
All you need is a container to hold the water, I recommend a pump to move the water around a little but it isn't needed, a piece of flat Styrofoam, little planter cups, and either special planting wool or some pods you can buy on amazon for pretty cheap, oh and plant food.

Cut holes in the Styrofoam for your pods to rest. Put seeds in your pods, float them on the container, keep water in there, add the food every 2 weeks, and make sure to give it light for a certain amoint of hours per day.
Oh, and to make sure your water stays clean, ever 4 to 6 weeks, empty it out, wipe it out, and put new water and food.
