Pro tip from somebody who welds and as such regularly deals with UV radiation and dangerously bright lights (welding arcs do put off UVs and arc flash/blindness is a real danger): If any activity occurs where prolonged observation of the sun is to happen, protect your eyes, please. If you're like me and want to look at it through a welding lens, know that it IS possible, but you'll need a minimum shade 13, with 14 being the ideal shade level. I'd hate to see people go blind because they didn't take precautions out of excitement
