A new SD card will need to be formatted when placed into a device for the first time.

After that, it should be fine to move it from compatible device to compatible device.

But, as they age, as with any storage device, they fail. When this happens, it sees the new device and requires formatting bc it believes this is the first use.

Hrm.. This might explain it actually

Afaik you can't encrypt SD Card on Xiaomi devices. In fact, this is the first time I encountered this option to encrypt SD Cards. You can, however, format your SD Card to be a part of your main storage (Option is called Format as Internal) which does what it says. And if you remove the SD card and plugged it in to other devices, they can't access the data, only the phone you used that "Format as Internal" can read it.

Majority of the butchers were closed in my area. The ones remaining are awful at deboning anything so if they removed fhe bones, expect fragments.

If they packaged the meat, it needs a good rinse to make sure there is no bone dust or fragments bc you can't guarantee they cleaned the surfaces well enough. They won't cross contaminate, but they will do a whole cut in one go.

I know a lot of health things say it is better not to rinse the meat bc germs will be killed in the cooking process, but it is one of those things that I don't trust anyone xD
