I think I told the story here already, but here is a repeat :p .
When I was cashiering, they opened a new store. They asked for volunteers to go to the new to help out for the grand opening. I needed the money and went.

They paid me for my gas, paid for mileage, and I got time and a half from the moment I left my house until I got home (I kept a spreadsheet so they had the exacts).

I did this for a week on 2 different occasions. First time, that paycheck was so nice.... So, when I got asked to do it again, I said hell yeah. Then my paycheck came in and I was paid my normal pay for 32 hours at my store. Brought it up to my manager mulitple times and was told, "I'm looking into it." After a few weeks, I finally went to HR or payroll. They told me, "you were already paid for that time"(quoting me the first time). I explained I was asked to go back again, here is the spreadsheet for the first time that I was laid for and the spreadsheet for my times for the second time I went.
My manager claimed I worked at my store that week. When they called the other store, they verified my spreadsheet to be accurate. I was paid the next morning
