Also, this is a tangent. But I think people hate on the "More cyborg less human" trope a bit too much. Because if you break it down into it's themes, and apply it to the time period of the 80s. It makes a lot of sense that "what are we giving up when we put raw efficiency above everything else?". With the 80s being a time of the corporate "raider". For transportation, I rode a bicycle, everywhere, n I live in the middle of nowhere.. The closest town is 7 miles away.. Its has "less" chances of being addictive. Its one of the safest depressant-cum-relaxant. But no matter how little a chance there is, I always say the percentage is 50/50, you either get addicted or you don't. Its also more likely to get addicted to the feeling that weed brings you, compared to your body constantly looking for the substance - by which its more mental dependence than physical addiction (altho all addictive drugs can also lead to that point)

Most cat owners I know have the cats just disappear for a couple of hours, patrolling their area, and come back for meal and play times, no issues with the dung and piss. I understand the issue with litter boxes, but not all cat owners have those, only those who pamper their cats - not letting them outside to stretch their leg, patrol, practice their insticts, play with other cats, or mark their territory.
