I started watching the cartoon afterwards bc I thought the cards were cool. Had someone teach me how to play and enjoyed the game.

I was so angry when I finally finished building my deck. I am cheap, so I didn't want to buy the cards. Building was a slow grind of trading. Finished building my deck to where it finally worked, and get told 90% of my cards were now "illegal" to battle with -.-"

Actually sat down at a card shop sometime last year and someone asked if I would help test a Pokémon deck. They explained how to play and I went with it. I won xD

No, they were confused bc the deck I was playing with wasn't supposed to beat the one they had. That was explained in the beginning.

Magic the gathering is interesting, but far too annoying to keep up with the cards or figure out where to play with the set you own xD

Ah xD the pokemon one the guy handed me their spare so they could test one they just built. The spare was supposed to be pretty bad, but simple for beginners, which is why he was a little confused I won. It did show him the new deck might not be viable.
