I think yes and no for the simple answer to your question. Having been on both the stay at home child care side and the one out working end, it needs to be a give and take from both of you. Both sides are extremely demanding and taxing in different ways. She may be a stay at home mom cleaning almost non stop, but unable to get any of the normal chores done bc the only rest she is getting is when the child slows down (idk age of child/children and don't plan to ask).

Now, if the children are of an age that they are at day care or school, then I do think more of the chores should be on her bc she has that large window to be able to manage more of them than you will.

Overall, you both need to sit down and figure out which chores each of you can manage based on the work you both do. If your job is very physical, having you sweep and mop might not be something you can do bc it can hurt your back. You may be able to do the dishes, put up clothes, etc. Things that are very taxing on you both, try to plan them on days you are bith free and can help each other out.

I had an oil leak a couple years ago that I had Chevy fix. We'll, its leaking again, and apparently the damage is due to low oil. But I check my oil every 2 weeks, get regular oil changes on or ahead of schedule, do all maintenance on time. Never got a low oil warning or a check engine light.

For a little while, I was buying a new car from the Toyota dealership near me, and when the free maintenance packages were up I would trade it in to a newer model to start the free maintenance package again.

I was doing this bc (at the time) the monthly bill I was paying them was cheaper than the maintenance of owning a car and the insurance I was paying when I owned a car (idk why, but I was getting a discount on my insurance).
Unfortunately, it is no longer cheaper to do this xD

I’ve owned 2 chevys and both had the same issue. It was caused by something leaking on to the terminals at the starter. For my truck I could just play with the battery end and it would start. For the Impala I had to clean the starter terminals periodically. The Impala was the worst. Sometimes it wouldn’t start but I’d get all the dash lights and shit when I turned the ignition on but when I actually attempted to turn the engine over everything would shut off, and I stg what I would do is work the shifter back and forth and it would start.

I recently helped my wife pay off a loan, but to pay it off through chase we had to call India. They refused me paying it because my name isn't on the account for the loan, so I moved the balance to payoff to her account... then they refused her paying it off because the account had her maiden name before marriage. Even though she's paid it with the post married name all this time. They swore up and down there's no account managers we can talk to, because they are the manager... It was a useless back and forth. Finally I got tired of their shit and absolutely berated the person on the phone for how stupid their policy of names needing to match is, if we're giving them money. And why after all this time they could take payments until now...

reminds me of when my mum wasnt able to vote in a general election many years back.

basically my mum was registered under her maiden name, then when she got married it was a different name and they couldnt register her for technical reasons.

so dad put in a tax rebate request as [name][maiden name] hadnt existed yet tax had been collected.

it got resolved overnight and she was able to vote in time =p
