Many games do not do this in the beginning of the game.

most demos typically give you access to everything for like 1 mission etc... but its enough to see the core gameplay, the idea behind the game as well as to interact with things that you don't and won't have access to within the first 2 hours of playing.

kind of like on some games the game kinda sucks till you unlock X mechanic, it allows you to kinda see what you have to look forward to, which for some people is actually needed, theres a few games friends of mine picked up and they were like "wow this sucks" eventually i convinced them to give it about another 2hours usually a few days or weeks after initial play and they finally got to the "fun" part for them.

some games just don't show everything within the 2hour time window.

One person spread it and when I proved it was fake they apologized to a lot of people. I blocked anyone that left the server during that time or that I thought participated in spreading it. Two people I forgave.
