Just gunna point out that bans don't work against any determined cheater. They can easily remake a new steam or email account and continue from square one. Which frankly. Does not require much. It's more of an obstacle for lazy bullies. The primary hope is to restrict or monitor overlaying tabs that mess with a servers information in ways that the player is not supposed to and ban them that way. although that only lasts so long before someone finds the line of code that detects this and creates a new cheat that circumvents this method that the devs would need to create another workaround. Like a big game of cat and mouse.

Griefers come in many types. Elder scrolls online has them, both in PVE and pvp. The PvP ones are fun to rile up, because they want to make people upset, and generally don’t like being on the receiving end. We had a guy with an “immortal” tank build doing it, I was playing heal support with a buff build. Yeah, that guy was a little slow on his self heals, soooo, I nailed him with an impale. Never fuck with nightblade healers. 😆
Did that a few times to him before he went crying for backup. Ended up being 30 vs 15 😆

Got even more fun when I private messaged a guy from a different faction. 30 vs 15 +40 😆

My brother was playing one of the ones on the Wii (yes, Wii) and I kept hearing him cussing and being and being an absolute horrible troll to the point I stepped in bc I wasn't having it anymore (I took care of my siblings for context). The kids loved me. I gave the headset back to my brother and told him. "If he kills you. You're grounded and I'm calling all of those kids parents" the guy was bullied out of the game.
