It's true that they have a poor way to manage memory (and even configs for code game functinos in my opinion). But then again, as the message you pinged stated... it's early access. Good cache and memory optimization is something i would expect of a finished game or a game that claims to be 'near completion'. I believe the fact that they're not focusing on memory and optimization is because they are NOT a big company/team and right now there are waaay bigger issues on hand. Like the bug in servers where, if someone leaves a guild while people in said guild are offline, all the other peoples savefiles get corrupted because they don't match the server's expected structure.
