True, but surely there's a reason to grab a shield? With RV, you've got more ranged shenanigans, so you can just pop a smoke bomb, snipe Elites and Monsters with a Crossbow and use the Hammer & Shield. Using something like a Crossbow seems less beneficial for IB, so Hammer & Shield sounds like it makes sense for RV, especially with Exuberance

shields are good if you wanna tank a lot of hits from hordes or elites like stormvermin

they go good with ironbreaker especially if you taunt your enemies

but you can use them on RV

most tend to do so because you dont have just as much health as ib
