They're damn solid barrels in my experience. My FN hammer forged barrel shot the same after over 10k rounds as it did new and has yet to open up so far. I'd rather longevity than sub moa for a rifle with an aimpoint and that doesn't see match ammo.

If I really need better than around 2 moa or so then I'd also probably prefer something bigger than 5.56 anyway.

I'm honestly a big fan of M193 for a general purpose round, it's cheap enough to buy in bulk or use as range ammo, decently accurate, at least as accurate as I'd expect from my optic and barrel choice, and if you're within that yaw and fragmentation range it can be wicked, I hunted coyotes with M193 and when it left an exit hole it definitely wasn't .22 sized

I had approximately ranges memorized in the areas I hunted so that I didn't over extend it though. If it was 300m at the very edge of a field I usually wasn't about to rush the shot with my aimpoint and m193.

all the mods i did prior werent standalone, i had to manually add them and follow cryptic guides to match strangers yt videos
