Grim dude. To me though, the most basic thing in a story base game is that the campaign works. lol i dont see frame gen option in settings anymore so i guess its turned off, dlss quality and fsr enabled. first 5 main settings in the list like textures and all other 4 that goes after it till the dlss one are all high and the rest are medium - and im getting 100+ fps most of the times.... with the already mentioned lag... its crazy how same gpus can have such huge difference performance in this game... and i dont have a single idea why my frame gen setting was greyed out before, and after turning gpu hardwaare acceleration in windows which helped with lags a lot but then the frame gen setting just dissapeared and input lag was still there. and crashes too.

Also the mod "Optimized Tweaks S.2" removes a bit of extra smoothness of input lag + other performance fixes.

well without fsr and dlss the game is unplayable the fps is just bad even on medium graphics for me, and then i dont even know if its a huge input lag seperately or just stuttering and lag in general caused by low fps. so i cant say how bad or good the input lag is without your mentioned technologies on because in that case for me is just unplayable then.

i try to avoid all mods at all, all vanila style haha. what is strange that there is no control settings to change the mouse sensitivity seperately - both x and y axis (up down and right left) sensitivities. in that case if this is not possible to be changed, then the x and y should be both EQUAL.

Same here lol, but some are simply necessary which fixes things devs didn't then "fun" and gamelay mods only after vanilla game is completed 🙂 Haven't really paid attention to the X/Y sensitivity, will check now, anyway probs there's a mod that fixes that too already ;D
In my case the horizontal sensitivity is a bit higher than vertical, but it takes similar mouse movement distance to move 180deg, horizontal is like 1.5x more sensitive relative to the vertical sens

i just checked the video till the end, it looks much better considering input lag acceleration and stuff, but the frames doesnt look smooth in the footage tho 😦 im used to really good smooth frames (counter strike gives 250-400 fps) so when im getting 80-100 fps in single player games such amount is enough for the game to be smooth enough not to worry about and its smooth enough it doesnt give any uncomfortable feeling, but in stalker 2 right now the situation is that even while playing with 80-100 fps its not smooth enough. ive checked my 99% fps and it often drops down to 30 or 50, while normal fps is staying okay.

The game, in my opinion, is quite easy (I play on "Veteran" difficulty).
Maybe my experience playing hardcore mods just plays a role here.
But perhaps the reward for the quests could be raised a little.

the quests reward less than you spend, mutants tank way too many shots, repairs are ridiculous in cost (which i know some people think the intent is to make you not use the same gun but my subjective opinion is that i hate this design and preferred the OG stalker game balance)

humans can tank full mags to the chest while unarmored, all of this kind of culminates in you just do side content for fun. doing it is always a net loss and you have to strategically plan to do it, or just brute force with the 5 million healing items you're given and run and stab people in the face

this game is a disaster, ive been grinding zalissya monolith battle for 8 hours and cant get past the bug of everyone ending up dead afterall i managed to even complete the quest and save them all and they said it over the radio too then i travel away from the town and everyone is dead and im softlocked on it no matter what i do, first 8 hours i didnt even get it completed even tho i completed it like 20 times in different ways. and this is not the only bug ive encountered and not to even talk about the numerous crashes and performance issues and they sold this game for 60euros? dont get me wrong i see the potential in this game but i thought cyberpunk 2077 release was a disaster but nope

googling this particular quest seems like a lot people have these same problems and other stuff too and just seems like hope is lost untill they fix the game, im gonna give it another chance in 2 years

its not always the dev's fault, as we saw in cyberpunk 2077 with different studio, the dev's had good intentions and were excellent at what they were doing, but the top brass who manage the money side made the game publish too early for money reasons, afterall the actual devs fixed cyberpunk2077 in the end made it fantastic and it was irony that there was a lore about big corporations in the game how evil they are with their greed rofl maybe the devs were trying to put out a message in there
