If there are more Spiders Tanks around each other, they start connecting this laser web with each other, damaging and slowing everything inside. So, combine that with the fact you can actually ambush enemies and trap them inside the web and you've got a pretty dangerous combo there

But they can also be attached to Widows to increase the power output of their enormous lasers. If the Widow's laser doesn't finish something off in one shot, the Spider Tanks can detach from the Widow and finish the enemy off

If the Widow gets destroyed, it actually leaves a husk behind which Engineers can repair. So, if you're playing it smartly, you can actually recapture the Widow and return it back to battle. Of course, enemy Engineers could do exactly the same and actually take them for themselves

And, of course, the Widow can burrow as well

So stuff like this could create interesting tactics that can be performed with good communication with teammates, adapting to situations and exploiting chances on the battlefield

At least, that's how I see it with my vision of C&C4 Renegade
