it is a balancing issue that is present with ANY mod that band aid fixed animations into a combat system that was never supposed to have them,and then doesn't do their due diligence to balance and redo th system to make the animations fit
See NLC7 as an example of this system done right
Consumables have animations but fights that game are sparser,less frequent and with less combatants,thus it makes sense
There are very little mandatory fights with humans and usually you'll be fighting against a low number of mutants thus the animations fit
Smacking consumable animations into stalker shadow of Chernobyl without redesigning levels spawns,enemy encounters,gunplay, gameplay overall just won't work BC it was never designed to be played that way
A mod can change stuff,but it needs to also be good and balanced
