use the cmd tool in the anomaly tools folder to unpack the archives of anomaly, then find the text that links to the antidote, catch the internal name (the text is the name you read but the computer itself assigns this item a internal name thats easier for the machine to read, something like item_antidote or some other), search the ltx files for this specific name and change the price there

My general advice is to use crouching and leaning to keep as much of yourself in cover as possible. Starting weapons suck so you will have to get to pretty close range to hurt anything

Keyboard commands are a must for controlling Companions. If left on "aggressive" while following you, they will take off on crazy jaunts to kill a cat or a rodent and get killed trying, often shooting each other in friendly fire incidents. While in movement, it is best to have them on "passive" to keep them in line, where they will follow behind you, and be in single file. You can raise that to "defensive" but if they are shot or you are shot, they will go after the offending party. "Follow" and "Wait" are the most important commands. If I want them to go to a specific spot, and stop following me, I will use the "Move to Point" like a laser pointer, to direct them where I want them to gather. This is helpful if they pin me against a wall, doorway or arriving at a level changer where they are blocking my movement. I just point the green dot and they go where I want them to go. If you decide to leave them behind, safe territory is best. Risky territory you can point them to a spot, then use the "wait" command. You can go off on your own, but they can be attacked, so you have to choose "passive" or defensive" if you are going to be going off in a level doing something. Best not to leave them for too long. Another incredibly useful commands are Companions Stealth enabled/disabled. Enabled makes them crouch in place or crouch in movement. This is useful if they are all standing up, blocking where you want to point them with the laser, so you can aim it over their heads, and then get them to move away from you when necessary. I generally have Looting disabled, otherwise they will break ranks to go loot something. However, that comes in handy when you are overloaded, as you can simply drop the excess items and they will pick them up. Never give a Companion an RPG-7 and ammo. They will literally use it to kill a tushkano at their feet. Always have one Companion carry the RPG-7 and another the ammo for it. Likewise with the RG-6. The most Companions I have managed was 40. I recently took 35 Companions into X-19 and after turning off the Brain Scorcher I let them loose on "defensive". I was leaving with 25 Companions. This video showed how I was crowded against the wall entering X-19, and I used the laser pointer, directed into the larger room to get them to move away from me, so I could get out moving on my own.

I feel like a good balance between being empty but still flush with content can be achieved. Its just wandering aimlessly for a lot of COP even having done most of the side content. It def felt like the shortest and content deprived of the 3. But the updates to gameplay mechanics were very well done.

We made adaptation of script and network base of CoP to play any storyline mods based on CoP platform (like SGM) onto Anomaly 1.5.3 with our co-op.
My dev did this for 5 hours. Look at the screenshot, Call of Pripyat Vanilla based on Anomaly 1.5.3 engine.

Ive tried IX-Ray, OGSR, OXR, AXR, STCOP and CryRay

IX-Ray is miles ahead when it comes to development experience, its stable, and overall good
OGSR has dozens of mods built on it or ported to it (that speaks for itself)
OXR is just good overall, same with AXR
The other two I didnt play much but I didnt have any issues with them either

Haven't played any mods since ~2017. Any good story-based mods out there that are NOT based on vanilla maps? Good story, gameplay and exploring new areas are much more interesting than shiny graphics.

Yeah I stopped in the middle of a mod because I want a break before diving into HoC. Was playing Curved Road translated by Psy. Pretty decent SOC vanilla+ mod. Comes with new quests and maps and some visual enhancements but mostly feels vanilla.
