I think when I started playing it someone in here said Global War was fun in moderate doses and I think I would agree. Despite the jank I've enjoyed taking half the zone. It uses AO3 so the weapon balance is pretty bad but as a large scale faction war it works better than it should. 7.5/10 - Will play again in the future but I think I've had enough for now

I wrote a pathfinding algorithm for this one robot project but it took a herculean effort for it to actually fit within the board's memory

Also forced to write it all in 1 file because the competition was evil like thag

The worst part is - the material of the floor I was testing on was different than the actual competition floor, so the friction was all wrong and almost everyone failed

Most people didn't use pathfinding though, they just manually selected which rotation and motor strength manually for every movement on the grid

Playing Anomaly for the first time on a potato laptop, is there a good performance-friendly visual mod that helps anomalies be more visible?

theres no QOL really

theres ZRP as "bugfix" mod but frankly it changes the game a lot and introduces new bugs that are dozen times more annoying than any bug in the base game

OP2.2, or cumulative pack as it is sometimes called. As the name suggests it is a number of community patches and fixes applied to SoC. It changes some things but it's mostly vanilla and okay for a first time.
