Also about that one « genius » comment about Lutris, they are 100% using the exact same method than GAMMA downloader: get mod URL page, scan it to get the download link, download the mod.

GAMMA is however smarter because there’s an entire backend server that pulls information from ModDB to serve everyone using the GAMMA launcher to avoid needless calls between the user and ModDB.

Lutris is basically doing what the old GAMMA installer that « DDOSed » ModDB did.

Hello, I am new to STALKER and currently playing SoC. I have encountered a bug related to the quest where you have to kill some bandits beneath Agroprom: Despite killing all of them, I can't progress through it. I was wondering if it had something to do with the mods I am using, which are the following:

it's a bit much to compare into the anomaly issue

People come here with problems and things just don't add up when they say I'm playing vanilla, only to find out they added the ZRP. It is far from being vanilla but they've been told they are only fixing bugs, when it's way beyond that.

I did a ZRP and a vanilla playthrough recently and I deadass noticed literally no difference

maybe it solved some problem before I saw it

but the gameplay was the exact same

The ZRP has been tweaked and modified every single year since 2007. It has created more bugs than it ever fixed, otherwise there wouldn't be so many fixes year after year after year. All the SoC bugs were found back in 2008.

umm i gotta say something about goldsphere, it takes me two magazines of a special boar killing pistol to kill one boar, OR, I can just knife it once, is this normal?

the boar is made to be near invincible
unless you have the butcher achievement and use a knife
