there are 3 tiers of artefacts
1st - 1000 RU - cheapest - usually starting capital for early game
2nd - 2500 RU - middle, super handy for early to mid game
3rd - 5000 RU - most expensive and usually most useful

for anything else just read the stats of the artefact

random NPCs that are neutral or friendly, but you'll have a third of the price for them sliced off

traders are on Cordon (Sid), Bar (Barkeep and Petrenko), Yantar (Sakharov - buys artefacts full price) and on Military Warehouses there's a guy but he has limited money, so can't sell him everything without buying something

out of the 1st tier of artefacts the most useful ones are for stamina and radiation removal

for everything else in that category the stats are weak and barely noticeable, you'll sooner find a better suit

i recently got a PC and i downloaded base anomaly, ive put around 9 hours into it, and having played shadow of chernobyl to completion, this really isnt that different from STALKER. its just shadow of chernobyl without much of a story (although its looking like i need to track down strelok so i wonder how thatll turn out) with some survival elements, and some updated gunplay and a pretty seemless open world

im having a great time with it personally and it doesnt really feel that much different from STALKER

it just feels like base STALKER had a slight steroid injection

feels tighter all around and more wholistic mechanically

Hey, could i ask you something about that STCS Redux mod?
It seems to have massively increased the population of everything, especially mutants to what feels like a ridiculous degree. Is this intentional? Can i change it or is this actually just how it is in vanilla and i just had no idea?

I haven't noticed a difference and I don't think it changed anything other than the arsenal and the ballistics. Maybe it's the SRP, maybe it's just the A-life
