most likely its just artifacts from anti aliasing. its still not perfect because its just basically doing post processing

some games have upscaling, might fix it, but in most cases it can make it blurry

or try playing on a higher resolution if you can

or even try playing around with the render resolution in some games

if you increase it above 100% (if your system can handle it) it can make things look crisper

I feel like with the trailer showing skif working with the government and the government informing media that it is “controlling” the zone n crap we can assume that all eyes have been set, and I highly expect that a large influx of foreign (non-European) nationals have illegally entered the zone either on their own accord or for an allegiance to a country/adminstration. Definitely not how mods like Anomaly and CoC show it as, but far more de-centralized and sporadic.

Also if you want a misery style like this mod that isn't hard core try Dead Sky which is Clear Sky but with a Misery vibe with better looking and new guns, a new engine, and maybe a new story line to unlock the gauss rifle. Oof I don't know If I can list them all, I played RTTN, gold sphere, nlc, CotZ, lots of random modpacks for CoM, CoC and anomaly, Solyanka, OP2, some really old clear sky and SoC story mods that I had on discs, like 10 years ago (yes mods on discs) probably a lot I'm forgetting, right now I'm trying to find kinda a vanilla SoC/CS with just better weapon models and animation, so I played quite a lot at OGSR GA lately

StCS adds guns so if you only want vanilla weapons then I wouldn't recommend it
