The basic gist if doin small edits like this is basically finding the certain thing in the unpacked files and then going to gamedata replicating that file structure and putting the new image with the same name as the image you want to replace,with the same size

Its a lot easier to do that than repack the entire gamedata files with your images

Could anyone here help me? I have this mod Radiophobia 3 and the first mission Siderovich gives me is to find a radiated "blood stone" artifact from a nearby anomalous area and gives me a container to store it. I have to complete this mission to get accepted in the rookie village.

Now the thing is the game begins at night time and it's raining so it's quite dark. I have tried avoiding the anomalies and going to the marked area. There are quite a few anomalies of different types but I couldn't find the blood stone artifact anywhere. I don't even know where should I look specifically.

online it seems like it could just be mod compatibility. i would check that, check if each mod was installed correctly. maybe completely reinstall everything. it might even come down to just removing mods 1 by 1 until it works to see which one is causing problems

i disabled the dark signal main menu mod but that just replaced the background not the audio

i believe there is another sound mod for that main menu audio somewhere but idk which one it is

if you haven't played these games yet then you should avoid these freeplay mods. they spoil events and locations, and also some like Anomaly have a drastically different atmosphere and tone compared to the original games.

play them either as is or with simple enhancement mods like better textures or weapon animations etc

if you want to change fov you only need to input the command fov followed by the fov you want to change
for example,I want to play CoP with fov set at 75
so I input the follwoing command: fov 75

use the tilde key to open the command line

you typically dont install multiple stalker mods unless the descriptions specifies they're compatible with one another or something similar, but if you do want to use multiple mods, you're going to have to merge them. I'm not sure how to merge mods, but there are better modding Discords/communities like C-Consciousness (just search them up on ModDB) that have Discords that would most likely help you
P.S. if you're a noob (not being rude, just making a guess) be warned Misery is very difficult and unfair, so it's definitely not recommended for someone new to Call of Pripyat

I'm not really knowledgeable about SoC since it's been years since I played it but, while I was searching stuff to optimize CoP, I found the OGSE and OGSR projects and I'm probably use one of those paired with the Gunslinger mod if I ever replay it in the future, even just to refresh things up a bit despite I for some weird reason loved the probability hit chance of SoC (not quite on CS though because of the additional weapons "upgrade" system that basically downgraded all weapons to be unusable unless you upgrade them, and imho it was too rough as a new game even for stalker standards).

tbh I liked it a lot, maybe because of not starting in cordon straight away. Also modding weapons felt satisfying. Beware that the stock ones are weaker than those you used in SoC, it was probably intended by the devs but until you do it they can be frustrating to get used to.

i will play SoC again after a very loooong time. i am planning to play it with autumn aurora since now i have a better equipment. considering i (kind of) remember the storyline what other mods i can put on aurora to make the gameplay better/different?

Tbh soc doesn't have much addons that make it better, besides the sleeping bag (even tho nights are bright).

If you want to make the gameplay better or different, you'll pretty much gonna be installing a standalone mod that's nothing like soc

Alternatively you can play Oblivion lost, it's kind of like soc but a lot easier and most NPC locations are swapped out with a lot of miltary like at bar checkpoint in garbadge.
There's a lot of neutral guards with exo skeletons that have AsVal that die pretty fast to mutants so you get easy wepaons

Only thing that changes the soc playthrough is how much you want to challenge yourself, example shotguns only

If you really hate yourself you can do it with pistols or makarov only

ok,let me explain stsuff for you,Stalker is not Anomaly nor Gamma,it would be more accurate to say that Gamma and Anomaly are different entities all together
the stalker modding scene isnt a hub but rather a variety of separate secular mods that all work within themselves,many with their own plot and gameplay and mechanics, Stalker is quite different froim lets say ST2 or Anomaly or OGSR
I would say play the stalker games first but that is only if you want to play them,theyre different from anomaly or gamma so they may not be waht you want
