because the game is designed on singleplayer, (this goes for any singleplayer openworld) its very hard to accommodate for a second or third player because the game is so hardcoded for singleplayer

and the engine is bad so its probably really hard to allocate the resources necessary for having a second or third player

the engine is so messed up and sphaggeti code that reverse engeniering it and documenting it is very very very hard,making it so incorporating new modules and adding new stuff is really really really hard
such as,an entirely new multiplayer mod
getting multiplayer to begin with a very hard and technical thing to do

games like Creation Engine from bethesda that have been over the years reverse engeniered are also quite good meaning that,while still being hard,add new functions and change the engine massively
xray,not so much,you will have entirely new offshoots and branches on sub directory bc its so hard

Anomaly by itself is mediocre,its a freeplay but the quest system to say it short sucks
If you want a survival hardcore based on equipment management thats pretty modular play GAMMA
if you want something more akin to the old games play Old World
if you want more side quest stuff go play a different mod like OGSR (its very fetch quest heavy)

If it's anomaly I think youll have more luck in the anomaly server but deleting your anomaly folder and reinstalling anomaly usually works for problems related to missing files try that

Xray is an engine held up with desperation and gorilla glue,to reverse engenier and get to the bottom of it require skill,and a lot of hard work,to add a completely new component that requires deep knowledge of the engine and very deep integration requires having the engine be open enuff to be worked with as tho it was source code
and you need to understand it something hard if your engine is as messy as Xray

The Faction War, as the name suggests, focuses on the faction war aspect of the game, expending each
faction campaign to previously ignored areas such as swamps, eventually putting one faction in control of the whole Zone. For the purpose of the mod the main story has been completly removed, and a new character and backstory were created.

Closest is RAD Multiplayer or StalCraft,you'd need to get access to RAD which you as of this moment can't since their discord is under locked down or need to know russian since StalCraft is exclusively russian for now
XRMPE and RoH are under curtains and god knows when they'll be revealed
XRMPE and RAD seem to be simple coop altho I heard rumours RAD was gonna be turned into MMORPG,and RoH and StalCraft are MMORPG shooters

If I'm not mistaken this is a problem with the mod itself, some dialogs and descriptions were buggy and the devs didn't fix it, but I think there must be some addon that fixes it

it's probably untranslated stuff, since the last update of the mod was in 2020, you can try to fix this by adding texts to what is missing in the .xml file of the descriptions and dialogs.

this mod in general is very broken, on master difficulty the burers and controllers make the experience broken and painful, the emissions cover points simply do not work sometimes not to mention the crashes that at least in my experience were many and annoying

I never had this problem, just the common freezes but the fps was pretty stable. you should lower your graphics and the water and particle effects generally suck a lot on performance

I'm playing through Oblivion Lost Remake Vector of Alienation

I would like to change loss of stamina with max carry weight

The problem is that the starting max carry weight is 40

but with certain suits this can be increased to for example 58

However this has no effect on stamina making the whole thing useless, because I start to lose stamina above 40

So is there any config variable I can change to I can still normally walk between 40 and 58 carry weight? (58 being the max carry weight with current suit)

If you've already finished the game I recommend Arsenal Advanced, this mod is hardcore without appealing to survival elements. anomalies in new positions and much more aggressive, hundreds of weapons, freeplay after finishing, and everything gives more damage

I had a similar issue with npc's blocking main hangar doors at freedom base in CS, tried walking around the whole way until I figured out that they were blocking the doors with their faces. Eventually chose to leave area then reenter to have them reload, voila, doors open
