After the faction war ended with the victory of freedom, I went back to the Dark Valley to retrieve the exoskeleton as a gift from the other freedomers. For the PKM ammunition, I looted everything I could find in the duty base but also got a lot from the tank under the space anomaly in the red forest. I’m not gonna lie, it took a hell lot of time.

idk man, when I was playing misery, I got to a point where I was running around with a knife killing people cause the game was so unchallenging once you got exo+sprint upgrade.

Even before the exo, hitting headshots with a rifle round almost always instantly killed the enemy, exo people took 2-3 headshots, most often in the 2 region.

I guess it comes down to personal skill level, but misery is by no means difficult. The only "crappy" or "uncool" part is that when you kill people, you get next to nothing in loot, next to no ammo, and it's very min-max heavy at the start where you have to use everything wisely.

Once you get a decent rifle, (kill 1 person with one.) and get to a trader for just a little ammo and a scope if you can afford one, the game is literally just easy mode from there. Nothing can stop you.

But their philosophy behind their design decisions is what turns me off for it
