One hand I can just have a somewhat fitting jacket for a more surplus-y look right then and there, though its more US than eastern

Short of getting custom camouflage made, I think it's close. Plus, it's a russian pattern, which makes sense with the game's lore. Lastly, patch is big because it's the only size I could find; new one on the way.

Just a reminder to anyone that cosplays to stray away from Russian gas mask filters(not the gas masks themselves but the actual filters which screw into the gas mask) because they contain asbestos in them. Last thing you want is mesothelioma but no one to sue

If you REALLY want to use the soviet filters, I would recommend you get someone who has worked in the field of CBRN to remove all the charcoal and asbestos inside the filter.

Something with lightweight fabric. Like summer BDUs. The trick would be to avoid wearing heavier gear when you don't need it. Which, incidentally, is a great way to keep your gasmask in good shape when playing anomaly or other harder mods. Take it off during shootouts.

GP7 fits with stalker stuff, has a diaphragm and doesn't cover the ears, but their quality can vary, mine isn't great
