AK74 is much more common than AKM and AKMS in Ukraine. Just look at guns that both separatists and VSU use.
Or "new" bullpup rifle Maluk that use 5.45 caliber. 7.62 version of that rifle wasn't mass produced.
New ukrainian WAC47 (funny name) shoots 7.62, yeah, but you can replace the receiver to shoot 6.8, 5.45 or 5.56.
Fort 221 uses 5.56/5.45 but not 7.62.

No matter what, but I don't think they will replace 5.45 to 5.56 in the near future.

highest weight i'd recommend is .28s, you only have an 8 inch barrel with the gun

that barrel length will limit range and accuracy, so using higher weights will give diminishing returns, plus heavier ammo's more expensive

Condor is super hit/miss; I wouldn't wear it for use and abuse, but for photo ops it should be fine.

I've always thought of independent Stalkers as wearing micro rigs or chest rigs instead of a proper PCs, coupled with some shoulder sacks and backpack since they're mostly going on expeditions and distant travel. For the more combative Stalkers, definitely a PC. Although a flak jacket would potentially be better than that, due to potential minor anomaly protection it would afford.

That said, the PC in your pic Zephyr is a bit out of place looking if only because its definitely got the Western aesthetic while the rest of the ensemble is Eastern. Understandably, you don't get too picky in the Zone and use what's best
