half of the folks at asg events here wear gorkas because even being 3x more expensive than surplus uniforms our own army wears, they are so much better than them, also surplus is dirt cheap but army pays a lot for these, shoes that are copy of german 60s design cost 220 euro a pair, you can have nice 1st quality Haix ones for that (which are the ones I am using personally but as 3rd quality only costing me 50 euro, the cost comes from goretex that's not as perfect as it should be)
