GSC made a few models and reused a lot of it. Copy and paste really. Small game company that had little to work with. I mean, think about the original games, none of them were ever fleshed out.

If I were to take whatever’s in my bins and combine it as close to something STALKER-esque, it would be this. I’ve got a lot of things in plan in making a proper costume with my own liberties; but this is what I got at the moment after scrounging around a few things. The M65 field jacket and the chicom definitely work well together- but I plan on taking my Avon M50 gas mask and painting it white, alongside grabbing 40mm NATO filter adapters for it to get mock green filters to match the Aesthetic of the modified PBF that’s characteristic of the games. I do have some AKRTIS British made Smersh that will be arriving sometime the next couple months, which will definitely be a part of this.

Overall I’m pretty excited to start this project, I’ve been a big fan of the cosplayer StarionCostumes for a long while, and I’ll definitely be adding weathering elements, alongside the classic ribbed shoulder pads and kneepads. I’ll bring updates as I continue this project.

I was debating just modifying a PBF, but as it goes for most gas masks of the Cold War- they fog and give you some mean headaches. The M50 doesn’t fog at all, and it already has impact rated lenses, which is a hassle to put on GP5’s and PBF’s. That and I won’t have to be breathing through filters at my larp events, as it’s super easy to grab mock 40mm’s.

I really appreciate it though,

I do also have my normal attire for when I’m just doing casual games- I could very easily pair this stuff with some Navy BDU’s get a mercenary inspired cosplay of sorts.

But I personally wouldn’t enjoy something like this if I were in the zone

I’d always recommend using mock filters for gas mask cosplay. Regardless if the shelf life is expired, or if there’s asbestos, though I know it isn’t present in these type of filters. I know that there’s people who can print certain filters, but I’m not sure about the Ms4. Regardless it’s still fine to use if it isn’t leaking or broken, it’s just personal safety and preference if you’re using it for longer durations of cosplay.

I have a gp5 canister I drilled open, cleaned, and use occasionally, though I simply prefer to remove the diaphragm and breathe through that.

The pistol grip’s stock, which I’m planning on just wrapping in some tape after painting and weathering it. I’m not a big fan of how it all looks right now, since I like giving character to the gun.

But I do love the weird design of the Zenitco foregrip, it’s a funky, jagged look that doesn’t make much sense ergonomically, but is rather comfortable.

I want to get a Bakelite pistol grip though really bad.

Consider each paragraph being re-written so that each Faction or sentence uses less words (be more brief ) so you could fit nice and snug here for everyone to enjoy. I can always rewrite my own words in such a way.

Somewhere on the outskirts of the Zone there was an old factory that acted as a transfer point.
Sidor, from time to time, went there on business to guard his goods.
Unfortunately, someone overzealous from the army decided that he would confiscate the goods and stopped the transfer.
Sidor, pissed off with the situation, issued a request to recover his habar.
Two stalkers responded.
Hexo, a freedomer from the Warehouses themselves, arrived at the scene, wanting to strike a deal with the Trader, and Stalvar, a loner who had returned from the north to rest in the Rookie Village.
Since they knew each other, they arrived at the site of the request together.
Sidor told them the details on the spot.
The stalkers, with Sidor acting as bait, pacified several soldiers. Sidor met the commander and made him bussy as a bait, to have his henchmen take care of him.
He took his new Rsz-12, saying "Mmm, pretty cool stuff.", washing it down with a sip of his homemade firewater.
Then they took the goods from the delivery truck together and shared the loot behind the factory.
Sidor, pleased that he had recovered the goods and made a deal with the Freedomer, gave the stalkers a canteen of the unique drink in addition to the reward.

well the i got the stalker models from sfmlab, the maps i ported from gmod there's also some maps on sfmlab. I made a whole video showing people how to port stuff from gmod to sfm on my channel
