Post photos when you have it all together. I already had everything but the faction patches (Loner, of course) and the gas mask. That one is an airsoft mask; I have a Soviet gas mask also.

oh and another cool thing, I was at a local surplus store n they had cargo pants and a rothco M65 in urban camo, which would work super well for a monolith cosplay as it has the same look and feel
I didn't get it this time, but were I to do a monolith cosplay in the future I'll be going there and picking them up for that

and apparently I got a steal on an original alpha industries M65

according to the shop keeper, they usually go for like $180 where I got mine for only $75
so that's cool

I've always been slightly in favor of sort of a Tarkov styled inventory, but much more fleshed out and easy to use, as well as physical clothing items. If you kill a guy and like his pants boots, you should be able to take his boots. Maybe some pairs make you lose less stamina sprinting, or are cushioned to lessen fall damage, or are quieter for sneaking.

Definitely solid as hell, appreciate sticking to older gear.
If anything, I'd say move the Geiger counter to your chest so you have less swinging around your body. If possible, you could also mount the mask carrier to your belt, front right side, holster behind it, and 3 mosin pouches on the left side, with canteens or whatever you nerd behind them. Or, reverse it, so you always have the rifle on your shoulder for faster reloads with your firing hand.

The less straps you can have going around your body, the better. Afix pouches to major webbing like a waist belt if you can. It'll free up space and be a hell of a lot more comfortable

Now about the green bag, it is the mask carrier bag of the polish copy of the SHM-41 which usually would have the big eo-15 filters, so I'm using it as the mask carrier for the SHMS since it's made to have a hose with it, the brown one is a mask carrier used for miscellaneous storage, or at least that's the idea for it

If that's the case, definitely move the carrier to the belt, and anything in that secondary carrier could probably be thrown into a light backpack, or spread among pockets. I know the KZS doesn't have any but you should have some cargo pants at least.

And with all the room the chicom is taking up, could probably swap that to a different vest (there's plenty to choose from with loads of pockets and pouches). Would help spread out the loud, keep you balanced, and especially keep with the style you're going for

The OP-1 cannot stop radiation, nor can the OKZK kit as a whole. however, keeping radioactive dust and debris off your skin, as well as rain formed over the Zone is good cause to keep it. Definitely have it on you, but I'd say roll it up into a good tube, and strap it to the underside of a pack, or over it if you choose a Veshmeshok pack.

I will state right now for all to hear, Soviet filters are largely safe unless exceptionally old, or damaged. The asbestos contained inside, which was often phased out in the 70s for many filters, are perfectly fine to wear and breathe through because the filters inner construction hasn't been compromised. Late soviet filters, especially ones still I packaging, are safe. Just don't drop them.

The asbestos material itself is often contained between two layers to keep it compressed and held in place.

I mean, I don't think slightly changing the SSH60 to give it an angle makes it cheaper, the whole program to update the helmet could have been scrapped to avoid futile spendings if it was deemed worse for the same price tag (or even a little pricier, since I guess making the slope this angle and all might mean some more manipulation to make)
