Most common vest appears to be a slightly modified Tarzan M22 or similar, which there's toooons of real and good repro vests made that can fill the role

It's always the humidity that kills Soviet NBC equipment. They're coveted in talcum powder which is supposed to absorb sweat and preserve the suit, but when it's 85% humidity as MN tends to get, the suit is soaked before you get it on. Wearing JSLIST is 10x as pleasant as an OZK

MOPP gear has an activated charcoal layer in the middle; once it gets damp, it never really leaves. It is eternal.

Western gear does. Soviet shit is a single layer of rubber or similar material. I got all the US MOPP suits between CPOG, BDO and JSLIST. Much easier to use than anything ComBloc
