Its illigal to impersonate a police officer or military personell. at a cosplay event however, or halloween, as long as you arent passing yourself off as one, most officials dont care. My setup is also foreign camo and pretty much just a chest rig. But even THAT was enough to set people off

at least from where I stand, coplay is where you try to dress up as closely as possible to something in a game, for example, snake or smth
larp is when you roleplay as someone inside that unniverse, so for example, if you cosplay stalker, expectation would be approximate of a suit, but if its larp, your roleplaying as someone inside the unniverse and can make your own look with that in mind

Question for all: what material do you think this is supposed to be? That's the hardest part of trying to make cosplays based off older game models lmao, trying to figure out the designer's intent on a low-poly model. lots of actual drop leg holsters and pouches use elastic on the thigh straps, several of mine do

crappier ones will shift a lot, better ones have rubberized backs of the straps to reduce it. either way they're still suspended from the belt as well as the leg

drop legs aren't very popular nowadays though, especially the lower hanging ones of the 80s/90s onwards because of the weight and shifting

mid ride is becoming a more prominent middle ground though

Their stocks constantly fluctuate. However if your wear a medium, that's a large in most European countries. Additionally being a jacket you want to wear with layers or a uniform underneath, a large is a wise choice too.

Yes, I have bought jackets before that had oddly long arms. Not a big deal with a good pair of military gloves but not so great without gloves.

Trial test one for the drop leg straps, using elastic webbing for wrapping up sports injuries as a sheath over some flat elastic. It's not hard webbing like the real thing but the texture's not too far off, it's easy to sew, and it gives a good scrunch effect and I don't have to buy anything. I think I might go with this.

Where did you get the straps for the leg?

I made all of them! The wider, harness-type ones are 40mm nylon webbing on 50mm clasps, and the thinner drop-leg straps are 20mm flat elastic encased in a sewn tube of 50mm elastic sports webbing.
