Airsoft is really big in Japan but after our former prime minister got offed by a handmade gun that looked straight out of Fallout 4, I think everyone is nervous about both airsoft and prop guns all around. Both the cops and the people carrying them around.

If i refine my circuit i can give you the blueprints. Its quite simple, just need to be careful while soldering

you can hang parts up above a pool of acetone to get rid of little strands of plastic, overhangs from the edge and generally blend the final faces a bit more into a smooth surface

but do not under any circumstance let the prints touch the acetone

Honestly can't remember. Its been a while. I believe it was ABS

ABS is a bit more resistant to acetone

ive tested it on an old lego brick which is injection molded ABS

took around 10 minutes for the lego piece to show signs of actually melting and getting disfigured

I've noticed some prints don't like the acetone, I print a lot of my masks with ASA so it's weather and heat resistant

so acetone vapors should be a good way of cleaning it up

A lot of times I don't really bother with the acetone so I just use a couple coats of Plastidip

Gives the prints pretty good paint adhesion and texture to them

Ironically the half a hemispbere antennae seems less dificult than the echo i made. Its quite rough on the other side which is why i didn't show it.

Hygiene would probably be absolutely horrific in the zone tbh

Water is radioactive, so you're going to glow in the dark unless you use your precious distilled water. Soap is a precious commodity, it's not like anybody is going to risk their lives smuggling it in. A rookie stalker might bring a bar or two with him in his pack, and that's the extent of the supply. You could make good money if you slice a bar into tiny cubes and sell them to the other stalkers. or alternatively Sid could provide stalkers stuff like toilet paper

Most stalkers probably just don't bathe. Diseases like trench foot, jock itch, and fungal infections could probably be rampant

also weirdly enough all NPCs in the games have very clean gear but i suppose it can be chalked up to gameplay reasons

My first loner cosplay, it's incomplete for now but I'll put the patches on later

They do! I used a cup-making technique and extra stuffing so it's pretty rigid and maintains the round shape of my shoulder area.

I didn't do the same for my elbow and knee pads since I figure I'll need the extra mobility for those areas, but I'll see how everything looks once all the straps are attached.

noice, if it helps for future I've been trying out using 4mm mesh fabric after using quilted polycotton with padding

It's perhaps a little easier to work with I've found and I'm hoping strands won't come out of the ridge stitching after washes
